Software Engineering

I build things
for the web.

Full-stack engineer specializing in frontend, with nearly 6 years of experience shipping high-impact web applications. I've built everything from scalable e-commerce cart experiences used by millions to robust analytics infrastructure and custom React applications.

Currently based in San Diego and accepting freelance clients for custom web development, performance optimization, and modern redesigns. Let's build something beautiful together.

Wayfair Storefront

Nearly 6 years building customer-facing ecommerce experiences at Wayfair — React and TypeScript flows used by millions across the purchase funnel, from browsing through post-checkout.

  • Shipping & delivery experience on the main storefront
  • Cart, minicart, checkout, and receipt page
  • Build Your Order — assembly & haul away attach flows for large appliances (+45% attach rate on key categories)
  • Major contributor to checkout, minicart, and receipt replatforming efforts

Dive Aunties Foundation

A full redesign of diveaunties.org — migrating a Wix site to a custom Next.js platform for a 501(c) freediving nonprofit. The new site is still in active development; member flows, admin tools, and Stripe billing are shipping incrementally. The staging preview is password-protected (too many accidental test payments mistaking it for the real membership flow) — watch the walkthrough above for a tour of the build.

  • Rebuilt from Wix to Next.js 15 — public marketing site, member dashboard, and admin tooling in one codebase
  • Supabase Postgres schema with RLS, role-based access, and isolated medical data storage
  • 4-step member onboarding with versioned liability waivers and Zod-validated Server Actions
  • Event management with RSVPs, capacity/waitlist, tier gating, and Google/Outlook/iCal export
  • Admin dashboard for members, events, and news — plus Stripe webhook sync for membership status
  • Responsive marketing site with mobile overlay nav, desktop dropdown nav, and ocean-themed design system

The Reading Nook

A personal reading dashboard with a soft, glassmorphic UI — track books on a vertical bookshelf, set annual goals, and visualize your year in reading stats. Built to feel like a quiet corner of the internet, not a spreadsheet.

  • Vertical bookshelf with page-count spines, plus a cover gallery view
  • Reading goals, year filtering, stats charts, and GitHub-style activity heatmaps
  • CSV import from Goodreads & StoryGraph with smart merge on re-import
  • Automatic cover lookup via Open Library & Google Books
  • Custom aesthetic palettes, dark mode, and Supabase auth with row-level security

This Portfolio Site

Custom-built personal site with an animated sunset hero, scroll sections, TikTok and Instagram embeds, and a fully responsive layout. Designed and coded from scratch — no framework, no build step — deployed on GitHub Pages.

Background

How I
work.

Frontend at scale

Nearly 6 years building customer-facing features at Wayfair — design systems, Storybook component libraries, Cypress E2E tests, and cross-team collaboration with design and product.

Experiment-ready engineering

Built feature flags, pixel tracking, and analytics integrations so product teams could run A/B tests and read results — I shipped the plumbing and UI that made experimentation possible, not the experiment strategy itself.

Personal projects & open source

Side projects, portfolio builds, and experiments on GitHub. Always building something outside of work.
